So How?

Did anyone manage to book the chalet?
Are we holiday bound?

At 6:10 pm, random said...: i checked and i don't think anyone did. I asked my dad to book, and he says he will ask his friends to book for us to increase the chances of allocation. The upside of this is that there is a high probability as hdb has some internal booking system for their own chalets. Coupled with mulitple bids, it should be quite gettable. The rates are quite cheap and the chalets are big.

The downside is that we will be informed only one month if we got it or not. And if we go with this plan, he says we can't cancel.

Still a shot (and a good shot) is better than nothing. Unless someone has something else more concrete (like maybe getting a booking) I think this is a viable plan.
